Pressure (cold) welding joins two metallic workpieces together by forcing them together at high pressure.

 

Overview of Process

Pressure (cold) welding is a process designed to connect two metallic workpieces together at a joint. The workpieces are placed close to each other, and extreme force is applied to push them together, which in suitable metals causes them to join together.
